The Host/Hostess (AM) is responsible for greeting and seating guests in a professional and welcoming manner while ensuring smooth dining room flow and exceptional guest service. This role manages reservations, answers telephone inquiries, and operates the ResPak system accurately and efficiently. The Host/Hostess maintains knowledge of menus, wine lists, and resort information to assist guests and support a seamless dining experience. Success in this role is demonstrated through strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to create a positive first impression for every guest. The position also supports overall restaurant operations by maintaining organized seating plans and assisting with In-Room Dining as needed.
