About The Position

Epping Forest Yacht & Country Club is seeking a Host/Hostess to ensure members have a completely enjoyable visit to the club. This role involves acting professionally, controlling the flow of seating, maintaining a positive attitude, learning and using member names, exceeding member expectations, and being a team player. The Host/Hostess will also maintain the organization of the podium.

Be punctual at all times and arrive to work on time, consistently.
Be able to work a flexible schedule, to include weekends and holidays.
Be in proper uniform, clean, crisp, and in good condition upon entering the property, including wearing your name tag. Demeanor must be professional and welcoming.
Hair must be clean and cut in a becoming style; management has final approval.
Become proficient on all appropriate equipment and safety procedures.
Maintain menu cleanliness.
Greet guest members and guest immediately with a smile.
Assist members and guest with any requests and control the flow of seating in the dining room.
Ensure all side-work is complete thoroughly at the beginning and end of each shift.
Answer phones in a professional and courteous manner.
Accurately take reservations for the dining room and club events.
Confirm all reservations for lunch and dinner.
