About The Position

The Host/Hostess is the first point of contact for guests and helps set the tone for their experience. The role involves greeting guests warmly, managing reservations and seating, and supporting seamless service in a dynamic, high-energy environment. The employee must be available to work as needed between Naked Tomato, Serena, and Apotheke.

Requirements

• At least 1–2 years of experience as a Host/Hostess in an upscale or high-volume restaurant.
• Fluent ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to multitask.
• Professional, polished, and confident presence.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and reliable work ethic.
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for the duration of shifts and lift, move, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Experience managing OpenTable or a similar reservation system.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
• Manage reservations and walk-ins using OpenTable or Seven Rooms, anticipating guest needs such as allergies and special requests.
• Escort guests to their tables, present menus, and introduce guests to their server.
• Maintain the appearance of the host stand and entrance area.
• Handle phone calls professionally and manage inquiries and reservations.
