About The Position

The Boathouse Waterfront Hotel & Restaurant is seeking an experienced Host/Hostess. The Kennebunkport Resort Collection (KRC) is passionate about Maine and its coastal town, translating this passion into exceptional guest service. KRC is dedicated to ensuring guests make the most of their time in Kennebunkport and create unforgettable experiences.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Ensuring guests are greeted immediately and guest needs are responded to quickly.
Properly booking the restaurant using the Open Table System to maximize the number of guests received.
Maintaining a consistent flow of guests' orders to the kitchen while ensuring guests are satisfied.
Answering incoming telephone calls and reservation email correspondence.
Greeting/directing hotel guests/staff and/or the general public.
Monitoring and maintaining acceptable guest turn times.
Engaging in clear, consistent communications with leadership and restaurant staff on a frequent basis.
Prioritizing, delegating, and responding in a timely fashion.
Performing any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.
Being on feet for the entire length of shift.
