About The Position

Bakersfield, part of Thunderdome Restaurant Group, is seeking experienced support team members to help deliver an overall guest experience that meets the group's quality and service standards. Support team members may work as barbacks, hosts, food runners, or server assistants. The role is suited to someone passionate about the restaurant industry and motivated to grow alongside the restaurant group.

The work requires continuous movement, including regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving items weighing up to 50 pounds. It also requires manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills, and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.

Requirements

• Experience as a support team member in a restaurant is sought.
• Ability to move continuously and regularly bend, lift, push, pull, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Manual dexterity and auditory and visual skills.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Know the food and beverage offerings.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and team members.
• Greet guests, answer phones, and make reservations.
• Assist with carry-out operations.
• Support the service team by clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables.
• Support the bar team with bar preparation, stocking the bar, and cleaning glassware.
• Handle guest requests and complaints professionally and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain a positive and cooperative team environment.
