About The Position

The Host(ess) works in the Sportsbook Restaurant & Bar, welcoming guests, assigning seating, and escorting guests to their tables. The role also includes promoting customer-service standards and marketing events, completing customer sales and payment transactions, cashier duties, and food preparation. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three months of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Must qualify for licensing by the Maryland Gaming Commission.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain all steps of the ACES Customer Service program with each patron and team member.
• Promote daily, weekly, and monthly marketing events.
• Complete customer sales, take payment, count and provide appropriate change, handle cash payments, process comps, and account for cash, credit, and comp receipts.
• Perform cashier responsibilities.
• Prepare food.
• Greet and welcome guests, assign seating, and escort guests to their tables.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
