About The Position

Kaminsky’s Dessert Café is hiring an energetic, welcoming Host / Cake Cutter to support front-of-house service and the cake counter. The role involves greeting guests, managing seating, cutting and plating house-made desserts, maintaining the dessert display, packaging takeout orders, operating the POS system, and helping ensure guests have a positive experience. Team members also support coworkers, garnish desserts, balance the register, and prepare for the next shift. The position involves regular exposure to common food allergens, including shellfish, dairy, nuts, and gluten.

Requirements

• Be at least 16 years old.
• Have a bright personality and make guests feel welcome.
• Be able to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
• Have an interest in desserts and a passion for hospitality.

• Experience in restaurants or customer service.
