Requirements

• A high school education or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in a restaurant setting preferred.
• Ability to work long hours as needed.
• Light work – exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Possess the ability to bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body and arms.
• Ability to work under variable temperatures and noise levels.
• Near Vision - The ability to see details at close range.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Must possess fluency in English.
• Must be able to work in stressful, high pressure situations.
• Must possess the ability to multi-task on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Arriving at work on time to get the restaurant/lounge/cafe set up and ready to open.
• Keeping your work area clean and attractive throughout the meal period.
• Handling room service orders as well as cash/credit as you take on the duties of cashier.
• Taking reservations, seating guests, pouring water, making helpful suggestions, answering questions, remembering names, offering a friendly smile.
• Following your hotel’s established safety and security policies & procedures.
• Anticipating problems and calling management as needed.
