About The Position

McMenamins Edgefield is hiring for Host/Food Runner/Support Staff at the Black Rabbit Restaurant. The Host/Food Runner/Support Staff role involves greeting and seating customers in a high-volume setting, answering phones, directing guests, answering questions about the pub or property, and expediting and delivering food from the kitchen to patrons promptly. This position may also include assisting with table cleaning and setting, restocking supplies, general cleaning, working outdoors seasonally, and working in both smoking and non-smoking environments. A key aspect of this role is maintaining excellent customer relations. The position requires mental agility, the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

Obtain and maintain a current food handlers card
Enjoy working in a busy customer service-oriented environment

Nice To Haves

Previous related experience is preferred
Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays preferred

Responsibilities

Greeting and seating customers in a high-volume environment
Answering phones
Directing customers to assigned or preferred seating
Answering guest’s questions regarding the pub or property
Expediting and delivering food from the kitchen to patrons in a timely manner
Helping, cleaning, and setting tables
Restocking supplies
Performing general cleaning
Working outside on a seasonal basis
Working in smoking and non-smoking environments
Maintaining and providing excellent customer relations with all patrons
