About The Position

The Hospitality Service and Events Associate supports the Hospitality Team in the daily operations of the Faith Café, banquets, and weddings. This role helps ensure a welcoming, organized, and excellent experience for all guests and events.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of one year of customer service experience required; food service experience preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds unassisted

Responsibilities

  • Operate the café during services, including taking orders, preparing beverages, and serving customers
  • Provide food service support for café operations, banquets, and special events
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all hospitality areas
  • Monitor and restock inventory as needed
  • Assist in the setup, execution, and breakdown of events, ensuring high-quality service
  • Support team members during events of all sizes to meet operational needs
  • Fill in for team members as needed to ensure continuity of operations
  • Train and support volunteers in café operations, including customer service and drink preparation
  • Assist the Director with additional tasks and projects as assigned.
