Volunteer - PCH-SL Hospitality Cart Volunteer
About The Position
Unpaid volunteer contributing time to Intermountain Healthcare in various roles. The heart of a volunteer is never measured in size, but by the depth of the commitment to make a difference in the lives of others. Volunteers are needed on Wednesday from 9am-11:30am and Thursday from 9am-11:30am. The role involves bringing sunshine while interacting with staff and patient families by delivering complimentary snacks and beverages to In-Patient areas. This service allows patient family members and visitors to have refreshments without fear of missing important information regarding their loved one. The Hospitality Cart Volunteer Position is a great way to get some light exercise while performing a valuable service. This job may be performed with a partner.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Have a great attitude working with the public
- Good communication skills
- Ability to protect and maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work with diverse populations
- Ability to stand for an extended period
- Lift, carry, and push 25lbs
