About The Position

WesleyLife is revolutionizing the experience of aging by challenging the stigma that aging means decline and promoting the idea that life transitions are opportunities for growth and purpose. This role is hired as a Hospitality Assistant and designed as a pathway into Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training. CNA training is anticipated but not guaranteed within a specific timeframe. Team members in this role gain hands-on experience while preparing for a future transition into CNA training once program availability is confirmed.

Requirements

Strong respect for seniors’ independence and good communication skills.
Ability to follow instructions and maintain privacy.
Flexible and willing to attend training and meetings.
Willingness to retain your Certified Nursing Assistant License within 90 days of hire.
Commitment to obtaining your CNA license within 90 days (paid by WesleyLife!)

Responsibilities

Engage with residents through light personal care, casual conversations, games, and social activities — help create a warm, home-like environment.
Assist with housekeeping, laundry, and light grooming tasks that make a real difference in residents’ daily lives.
Collaborate with nursing and care staff to ensure residents feel respected, clean, and cared for.
Build meaningful relationships — be a familiar, friendly face that residents and families come to trust and appreciate.
Receive full training on protective equipment, infection control, and emergency procedures to keep everyone secure.
