Arc Broward is seeking a Hospitality and Special Event Sales professional with a passion for customer service and a knack for leading in a high-energy, hospitality-driven environment. Requirements
- Mandatory service experience in hospitality required.
- 3+ years in a similar Food Service/Events lead role required.
- Experience using TripleSeat or other catering/event management software.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Must successfully complete required screening: Level II background check, physical and drug screen.
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or GED preferred, can be substituted for prior service manager experience.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing the planning, execution, and evaluation of events while maintaining exceptional overall service.
- Participating in weekly BEO meetings with the catering team to review and coordinate upcoming events.
- Maintaining an adequate roster of servers, bartenders, etc., and scheduling and supervising them for events.
- Ensuring catering deliveries meet customer guidelines and determined event details.
- Quickly evaluating alternatives and deciding on a plan of action.
- Demonstrating exceptional leadership, communication, and initiative while overseeing event set up, execution, and breakdown.
