About The Position

The Great Falls Clinic and Great Falls Hospital are seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Hospitalist to join their expanding health system in Great Falls, Montana. The program is housed within a 46-bed acute care hospital and is complimented with coverage by a diverse mix of surgical and medical specialists. This is a hospital-employed, part-time position with a 7 on 21 off schedule, working 7:00 am – 7:00 pm, Wednesday-Tuesday. Dedicated nocturnists and Pulm/CC physician are on staff, supported by Telemed Critical Care/Pulmonology and on-call specialists. The facility is state-of-the-art with advanced diagnostics, an acute care hospital with a full complement of referring specialties in-house, 36 inpatient beds, a 10-bed Open ICU, 2 cath lab suites with an 8-bed pre/post-procedure care unit, 5 ORs + a 4 OR Surgery Center, a dedicated 5 observation beds, and a busy 8-bed ED with highly experienced staff. The daily census averages 15 patients per day with a 1:5 nursing patient ratio based on acuity.

Requirements

BE/BC in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Eligible for Montana medical licensure
Committed to high-quality, patient-centered care
Values autonomy within a collaborative environment
Procedure experience and comfort in the following areas preferred: Central Lines, Intubation, Arterial Lines

Responsibilities

Provide patient care as a Hospitalist.
Work a 7 on 21 off schedule, 7:00 am – 7:00 pm, Wednesday-Tuesday.
Be comfortable with procedures such as Central Lines, Intubation, and Arterial Lines.
Collaborate with a diverse mix of surgical and medical specialists.
Utilize Telemed Critical Care/Pulmonology and on-call specialists for support.
Manage an average daily census of 15 patients.
Maintain a 1:5 nursing patient ratio based on patient acuity.
