About The Position

St. Alexius is seeking inpatient hospitalist coverage at CHI St. Alexius Health in Williston, North Dakota. The role provides 24-hour-per-day hospitalist coverage for admitted patients, including admissions, rounds, and ongoing care. Coverage includes medical/surgical and ICU patients and may involve consulting for OB. The hospitalist admits patients from the emergency room and covers patients assigned to hospitalist services. Coverage is needed on the listed dates, with ongoing coverage noted. The reason for coverage is a provider shortage. The facility uses Meditech. An FNP provider is available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Compensation is described as hourly/callback and night call, including 2.5 hours gratis; rates above the cap will not be cleared by MSP.

Requirements

• ACLS certification.
• BLS certification.
• DEA registration.
• North Dakota state license.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient hospitalist coverage 24 hours per day.
• Conduct rounds and provide care for admitted hospital patients, including medical/surgical and ICU patients.
• Admit patients from the emergency room.
