About The Position

This is a Locum Tenens Hospitalist position in Tarboro, NC. The role is for supplemental coverage in an inpatient setting. The coverage period is from July 4th to July 13th, 2026. This is a clinical-only role. The facility has 117 beds and an annual ED volume of 26,000 visits. The patient volume is approximately 12 per day, with a total of 46-50 patients. Admissions range from 3-8 during the day and 6-8 during the night. There are 3 physicians on staff during the day and 1 physician at night. Specialty backup is available from Orthopedics, Cardiology, Critical Care Unit, Urology, and OBGYN. No procedures are required. The nursery level is III (Intermediate Care). The physician will be required to respond to codes. ICU/Critical Care Duties are optional for day shifts but required for night shifts.

• BC/BE
• BLS
