About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated Hospitalist to provide direct medical care for hospitalized patients in Brattleboro, VT. This permanent, full-time position involves inpatient service, covering a vacancy. The role requires clinical duties plus call, with a work schedule of 7a-7p and rotating weekend call. The facility has 61 beds and is supported by nurses, respiratory therapists, and backup from various specialists including surgeons, primary care providers, CRNAs, EM physicians, and ancillary services. No procedures are required. This position is ideal for a physician seeking to practice evidence-based, patient-centered care in a rural health setting.
Requirements
- Active VT License
- BC/BE
- DEA
- BLS, ACLS
- Clean Record
- Experience running codes
- Ventilator management experience
- MD or DO from accredited medical school
- Most recent NPDB Self Query Report
- 2–3 years Hospitalist experience

Responsibilities
- Provide direct medical care for hospitalized patients including admissions, daily rounding, and discharge
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions
- Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care
- Order, interpret, and act on laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic studies
