About The Position
TeamHealth is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible internal medicine or family medicine physician to join its established hospital medicine team at Henrico Doctors' Hospital, a 340-bed HCA-affiliated community hospital in Richmond, Virginia. The position offers a well-supported practice environment with a closed ICU, 24/7 dedicated intensivist coverage, dedicated APC support, strong specialty support, and no procedural responsibilities. TeamHealth manages both the hospital medicine and emergency medicine programs. The team uses Meditech EMR. This is a full-time day position requiring a minimum of 182 hours, or 14 shifts, per month. The schedule is a 7-on/7-off rotation with shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The estimated base compensation is $135 to $160 per hour. The benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid professional liability insurance with tail, and access to professional development tools, educational resources, and CME through the TeamHealth Institute. Additional incentives are negotiable.
