About The Position
The Parker Jewish Institute for Healthcare and Rehabilitation is seeking a full-time Physician to join its Medical Department in New Hyde Park, New York. Working alongside experienced Medical leadership, the physician will provide appropriate, adequate, compassionate, and high-quality medical care to Parker’s residents in coordination with other members of the health care team. This is a key clinical leadership role with the opportunity to contribute to a well-established health care organization.
Requirements
- Two or more years of experience as an attending physician in a hospital with a geriatric population or in a nursing home environment.
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
- New York State Board certification in a primary care specialty.
- Completion of a residency in Internal Medicine.
- Eligibility for hospital admitting privileges.
- Clean and active license to practice medicine in New York State.
- Proficiency in SigmaCare or a similar electronic medical record software.
Responsibilities
- Deliver appropriate, adequate, compassionate, and quality medical care to Parker’s residents.
- Coordinate resident care with other members of the health care team.
