About The Position

Jefferson Health is seeking a Hybrid Hospitalist Physician to support our New Jersey campuses, with a primary base at Washington Township and rotational coverage at Cherry Hill and Stratford. This role offers a dynamic practice environment across multiple community hospital settings, providing a diverse patient population and collaborative care experience.

Requirements

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
Active New Jersey medical license (or eligibility to obtain).
Active DEA and CDS registrations.
Completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and excellent communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Prior hospitalist experience in a community or academic setting.
Experience working across multiple sites or in a hybrid/float model.
Familiarity with EPIC or similar EMR systems.
Interest in teaching and academic engagement.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive inpatient care, including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and management of hospitalized patients across assigned campuses.
Rotate between Washington Township, Cherry Hill, and Stratford locations to support clinical coverage needs and maintain continuity of care.
Participate in patient admissions, daily rounding, and discharge planning.
Collaborate with specialists, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-centered care plans.
Respond to medical emergencies, including Rapid Response and Code Blue events.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation using the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical protocol development.
Support and mentor medical students, residents, and advanced practice providers, as applicable.
