Hospitalist Dayshift Nurse Practitioner Position in beautiful Pocatello, Idaho
About The Position
Portneuf Medical Center is seeking a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner to join a collaborative team of 10 physicians and 5 advanced practice providers in Pocatello, Idaho. The position follows a 7-on/7-off schedule with 12-hour shifts. Responsibilities include admitting new patients, rounding on inpatients, and taking floor calls. Portneuf Medical Center is a nationally recognized, comprehensive healthcare provider and regional Level II Trauma and tertiary care center with 205 beds. Its services include a Level III neonatal intensive care unit, an adult intensive care unit, orthopedic and cardiac care, oncology, imaging, and primary and specialty care. The medical center also supports education for future physicians and health professionals. Pocatello is in southeast Idaho, near outdoor recreation destinations including the Grand Tetons, Yellowstone National Park, Sun Valley, and Jackson, Wyoming. Salt Lake City is approximately two hours away. The community is home to Idaho State University and offers public, private, and charter school options.
