PRN Urgent Care Physician Assistant needed in beautiful Pocatello, Idaho
About The Position
Portneuf Health is seeking a highly skilled PRN Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide shift-based coverage at its urgent care sites in Northgate and Chubbuck, Pocatello, Idaho. The role is outpatient only, with no call. The sites have onsite lab, medical imaging, point-of-care testing, robust support staff, and Epic EMR. The service area is experiencing high growth. Applicants with experience in urgent care, family medicine, or emergency medicine are encouraged to apply. Portneuf Medical Center is operated by Ardent in partnership with the Portneuf Health Trust. Located in Pocatello, Idaho, the 205-licensed-bed acute care facility has a Level II Trauma Center and a 20-bed ICU and has served Eastern Idaho since 1907. Pocatello is described as a welcoming community in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, with outdoor recreation, cultural attractions, affordable housing, high-performing schooling options, and access to destinations including Yellowstone, the Grand Tetons, Jackson Hole, Sun Valley, and Salt Lake City.
Requirements
- Be a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience in urgent care, family medicine, or emergency medicine is encouraged.
