About The Position

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated advanced practice provider to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network. Join an established team of 5 physicians. Call structure: None. Practice setting: Inpatient covering nights and days. Access to Level I Trauma Center resources, comprehensive on-site diagnostic imaging, and an integrated statewide referral network. Employed position within a nonprofit health system. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Advanced Practice Provider. Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration. Enhance patient outcomes: Counsel and educate patients and their families concerning preventative health, treatment options, and community resources. Drive clinical excellence: In collaboration with a physician, provide for the expansion of individualized healthcare services by diagnosing and treating acute and chronic health conditions. Ascension St. Vincent Hospital Indianapolis is an 825-bed flagship tertiary care center. Level 1 Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center. Ascension St. Vincent Indianapolis (86th St.) is a major referral hub for the state. Integrated referral network. Part of Ascension, a national nonprofit Catholic health system.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Nurse Practitioner specializing in Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Master's degree of Nursing required.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Advanced Practice Provider
  • Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration

Responsibilities
