About The Position

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Hospitalist to join Ascension St. Vincent Kokomo. We are a full-service hospital with 24/7 emergency care and level III trauma center. Ascension St. Vincent Kokomo is a destination for specialty care - including cancer care, breast imaging and testing, hospice care, cardiac rehabilitation and heart and vascular health. Elevate patient outcomes by providing high-acuity care within our open ICU setting in Anderson, IN. Drive clinical excellence by managing a varied patient census while collaborating with a specialized team that handles all admissions. Maximum Scheduling Flexibility: Benefit from a part-time schedule and the rare advantage of a schedule published six months in advance. Remain on the same team during your 7-on schedule for patient continuity. Foster clinical collaboration by integrating with growing provider groups across four hospital campuses and the greater Indianapolis medical community. Employed position: W2 position with Ascension St. Vincent Indiana.

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
  • MD or DO.
  • Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.

Nice To Haves

  • Internal Medicine Specific: This team specifically seeks IM-trained physicians; Family Medicine candidates are only considered in very rare circumstances.
  • New Graduate Friendly: While prior hospitalist experience is a plus, the team is highly supportive of and will accept new graduates.
  • Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
