About The Position

Xanitos, Inc. is hiring full-time Hospital Trash Techs for the first shift at Tenet Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida. The role involves collecting and disposing of trash and debris, sorting recyclable and compostable materials, cleaning assigned areas, and maintaining sanitation and infection-control standards. Employees follow safety procedures when handling hazardous materials and communicate issues to management. The scheduled shift is 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with rotational weekends and holidays. The hourly rate is $16.50.

Requirements

Complete post-offer medical screening, background screening, and drug testing.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to perform the physical demands described, including standing, walking, handling and reaching; frequent climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling; and talking or hearing.
Ability to meet the visual requirements of the position, with or without corrective lenses.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Pick up and remove trash and debris daily.
Properly segregate recyclables and materials eligible for composting.
Perform cleanup in assigned areas as necessary.
Maintain a clean and sanitary environment.

Follow sanitation and infection-control standards.
Properly package and store trash for disposal.
Monitor and control area dust levels.
