About The Position

Daniels Health is looking for a Hospital Service Technician to join their team and help support their assigned hospital with critical medical waste services. This is a part-time role working 3 days per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday), 24 hours per week. The role involves hands-on work in a fast-paced environment, focusing on safe and timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation. Technicians will inspect and service containers in clinical areas, including procedural spaces, and work around sensitive equipment and patients. The job requires lifting containers (up to 50 lbs) and pushing/pulling carts (up to 300 lbs) throughout the day. Responsibilities also include maintaining inventory, ensuring areas are stocked and organized, using a company-provided smartphone for task management and communication, and keeping staging areas clean. The role requires representing Daniels Health with professionalism, positivity, and a strong work ethic.

Requirements

Physically fit, comfortable with heavy lifting, and enjoys active, on-the-go work.
Team player who can also work independently without direct supervision.
Strong attention to detail—especially when it comes to paperwork and procedures.
Can-do attitude.
Previous experience in a labor-intensive or logistics role.

Responsibilities

Working directly with hospital staff to ensure safe and timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation.
Inspecting and servicing Daniels Health containers in clinical areas—this includes entering procedural spaces and working around sensitive equipment and patients.
Lifting containers (up to 50 lbs) and pushing/pulling carts (up to 300 lbs) throughout the day.
Maintaining inventory of containers and ensuring all areas are stocked and organized.
Using a company-provided smartphone to manage tasks, report issues, and communicate with your team.
Keeping staging areas clean and orderly before and after service.
Representing Daniels Health with professionalism, positivity, and a strong work ethic.
