About The Position

The Hospital Security Guard helps maintain a safe and secure environment at a client site by actively monitoring the premises and patrolling locations. The role preserves order by enforcing site regulations and directives related to personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. Security Officers may also provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. The position involves observing and reporting activities and incidents to help protect client property and personnel. No prior experience is necessary; training is provided. Retail, food service, or hospitality experience may be a good fit. Security experience is preferred. Applicants must pass a drug screen and background check and meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards. Excellent customer service skills are required.

Requirements

Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
Ability to sit, stand, and walk frequently for long periods, including climbing stairs and walking on inclines and uneven terrain.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Security experience is preferred.
Retail, food service, or hospitality industry background is considered a good fit.
