About The Position
Sentara RMH Medical Center, located in Harrisonburg, VA, is a 238-bed community hospital serving a seven-county area with a population of close to 218,000 residents throughout the Shenandoah Valley. The Hospital President serves as the senior executive accountable for the overall strategy, performance, and operations of a hospital and its integrated care delivery services. This role sets enterprise-aligned direction across acute, ambulatory, and population health services, advancing clinical quality, patient safety, experience, and financial sustainability. This role builds strategic relationships with physicians, clinical leaders, governing boards, and community partners to strengthen access and coordinated care. As the top executive for the facility, the role ensures alignment with the organization’s mission, vision, and long-term goals.
Requirements
- Master's Level Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business or related field
- 7 years of progressive leadership experience in an Acute Care, In-Patient Hospital Setting
