About The Position

The Hospital Medical Leader at Vetco Total Care Hospital ensures the highest level of patient care and client experience, drives continuous improvement in clinical skills, and cultivates a supportive, respectful, and collaborative work culture. This role involves reviewing hospital P&L and partnering with medical and operations field leaders to drive hospital performance, efficiency, and exceptional care quality. Vetco Total Care hospitals are equipped with advanced technology to support a wide range of procedures, from routine care to complex surgeries. Building relationships with pet parents and modeling respect and empathy are key aspects of the role, supported by local medical directors and a team of veterinary technicians and assistants. Requirements

  • DVM and/or Experienced Associate Veterinarian
  • Ability to practice true autonomous medicine.
  • Ability to utilize all experience and skills and continue to learn.
  • Ability to build relationships with pet parents and model respect and empathy.
  • Support of local medical directors and a team of licensed and trained veterinary technicians and assistants.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine, diagnostic, and complex procedures including radiographs and ultrasounds, dental extractions and prophylaxis, spays/neuters, abdominal exploratory, and mass removals.
  • Build relationships with pet parents and model respect and empathy.
  • Utilize all experience and skills and continue to learn.
