About The Position
The Hospital Maintenance Technician III, also referred to as Plant Engineer III - HVAC, maintains accurate logs on hospital equipment and helps provide a safe working environment. The role maintains and repairs mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, plant maintenance, and medical gas systems, and maintains the building and its related systems. The technician must be certified and/or licensed in a trade directly related to healthcare engineering.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Able to troubleshoot and read schematics and/or blueprints.
- Valid state driver’s license.
- Certified and/or licensed in a trade related to healthcare engineering, such as steam boiler or HVAC.
Nice To Haves
- Five years of experience in an acute healthcare setting preferred.
