About The Position

Smith+Nephew is seeking a Hospital Key Account Manager & Team Lead for their Advanced Wound Management (AWM) portfolio in Belgium. This role involves driving sales performance, leading a team of Hospital Key Account Managers, and managing key hospital stakeholders. The position is field-based and permanent.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years’ experience in medical devices or pharmaceutical sales (hospital environment)
  • Proven experience in tender management and key account development
  • Prior experience coaching or leading colleagues
  • Strong commercial, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in complex hospital environments
  • Fluency in Dutch, French, and English
  • Willingness to travel domestically

Responsibilities

  • Deliver sales targets across the AWM portfolio within hospital accounts and at national level
  • Develop and execute territory and national business plans with the Sales Director
  • Manage key hospital stakeholders and support tender strategy and execution
  • Deliver clinical presentations, product demonstrations, and trainings
  • Act as day-to-day Team Lead for three Hospital Key Account Managers
  • Coach and support the team to ensure consistent execution and high performance
  • Provide structured field feedback and ensure accurate CRM reporting
