About The Position

Highland Animal Hospital is seeking a dependable, self-motivated individual to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients, patients, and staff. The role includes general cleaning and maintenance tasks throughout the hospital, both indoors and outdoors. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, at $12 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize the lobby, restrooms, exam rooms, and other designated areas.
• Sweep, mop, and regularly disinfect floors.
• Use cleaning chemicals and disinfectants safely and effectively.
• Vacuum rugs and carpets and clean upholstered furniture as needed.
• Dust furniture and wash walls, ceilings, windows, and stainless-steel surfaces.
• Clean windows, door panels, and sills, including the front desk area.
• Empty and dispose of trash and recyclables in designated outdoor containers.
• Replenish bathroom supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.
• Maintain outdoor areas, including parking lots, front and rear porches, ashtrays, trash cans, and walkways.
• Pick up trash and animal waste in outdoor areas.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning task checklists.
