About The Position

Baptist Health is seeking a Hospital Housekeeper to join their Environmental Services team at Baptist Downtown. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The hospital utilizes advanced UV Disinfection Technology with UV Robotic Machines to eliminate germs before manual cleaning.

The shift details are full-time, nights, from 11p to 7:30a, with rotating weekends and holidays required, totaling 40 hours per week. The primary work location is Baptist Downtown.

Requirements

• High School Diploma Preferred

Nice To Haves

• 1-2 years Environmental Services Experience Preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of cleaning duties as assigned, including janitorial and custodial services.
• Sweeps, mops, dusts, and sanitizes a variety of areas including but not limited to offices, bathrooms, patient rooms, non-patient areas, procedure rooms, common waiting areas, etc.
• Maintains all cleaning supplies in accordance with OSHA requirements.
• Maintains a friendly and professional attitude.
• Always follows safety and security protocols.
• May perform other duties as required.
