About The Position

Baptist Health is seeking to add a Hospital Housekeeper to their Baptist MD Anderson, Environmental Services team. The Hospital Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Baptist utilizes state-of-the-art UV Disinfection Technology via UV Robotic Machines, which break down the DNA of germs before manual cleaning. This role is full-time, days, 7a-3:30p, with rotating weekends and holidays required, totaling 40 hours per week. The primary location is the Downtown - Main Building.

Requirements

• 1-2 years Environmental Services Experience
• High School Diploma Preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of cleaning duties as assigned, including janitorial and custodial services.
• Sweeps, mops, dusts, and sanitizes a variety of areas including but not limited to offices, bathrooms, patient rooms, non-patient areas, procedure rooms, and common waiting areas.
• Maintains all cleaning supplies in accordance with OSHA requirements.
• Maintains a friendly and professional attitude.
• Always follows safety and security protocols.
• May perform other duties as required.
