About The Position

Xanitos is hiring full-time and part-time Hospital Housekeepers for its Environmental Services team at Memorial Hermann Hospital–Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas. Housekeepers may work in any location on the client’s health care campus, cleaning and maintaining facilities in an orderly condition. The position offers first, second, and third shifts and includes weekends and holidays. Qualified candidates who attend the hiring event may receive an immediate job offer. The hiring event is scheduled for October 28, 2026, at 6411 Fannin St, Houston, Texas 77030. RSVP is required by applying directly to the posting; walk-ins are not accepted. Pay is $15.00 per hour. Xanitos provides hospital housekeeping and related services and emphasizes quality service and patient-room cleaning through its XRO System. Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent.
Successful completion of post-offer medical screening, background screening, and drug test.
Ability to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
Ability to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
Ability to work in a standing position for long periods.
Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
Vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses.
Ability to work with possible exposure to chemicals that may require special clothing or safety equipment.

Responsibilities

Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
Sweep and/or vacuum floors.
Dust furniture and equipment.
Polish metalwork.
Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to the disposal area.
Replenish bathroom supplies.
Transport small equipment or tools between departments.
Maintain facilities or locations on the health care campus in an orderly condition.
