About The Position
Baptist Health is seeking a Part-Time Hospital Housekeeper to join their Environmental Services team at Baptist Downtown. This role is crucial for maintaining a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The hospital utilizes advanced UV Disinfection Technology with UV Robotic Machines to eliminate germs before manual cleaning. The position is part-time, working nights from 11:00 PM to 5:30 AM, with rotating weekend and holiday requirements, totaling 32 hours per week. Baptist Health is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system in Northeast Florida, recognized for its commitment to patient care and community well-being.
Requirements
- 1-2 years Environmental Services Experience
- High School Diploma Preferred
Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of cleaning duties as assigned, including janitorial and custodial services.
- Sweeps, mops, dusts, and sanitizes various areas such as offices, bathrooms, patient rooms, non-patient areas, procedure rooms, and common waiting areas.
- Maintains all cleaning supplies in accordance with OSHA requirements.
- Maintains a friendly and professional attitude.
- Always follows safety and security protocols.
- May perform other duties as required.
