About The Position

The Hospital Director of Plant Operations oversees plant operations, maintenance, environmental services, safety, and security at the hospital. The role ensures these activities follow established standards and guidelines, PAM Health policies and procedures, and budgetary limitations. The Director conducts inspections and maintains the facility and equipment to meet Environment of Care, Life Safety Code, and interim Life Safety Code requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of five years of related experience.
• Hospital maintenance experience.
• Familiarity with JACHO, NFPA, and OSHA regulations.
• Community electrical maintenance license if required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) certification desired.

Responsibilities

• Manage Plant Operations, Maintenance, Environmental Services, Safety, and Security activities in accordance with established standards and guidelines, PAM Health policies and procedures, and budgetary limitations.
• Conduct inspections and maintain the facility and equipment to ensure compliance with Environment of Care, Life Safety Code, and interim Life Safety Code requirements.
