About The Position

The Hospital Administrator at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the facility, ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services, and maintaining a safe and efficient environment for both patients and staff. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare administration, preferably in a behavioral health setting.
  • Proven track record of managing healthcare facilities, including budgeting, staffing, and operations.
  • Experience in developing and implementing healthcare policies and procedures.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and accreditation standards in healthcare.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with staff, patients, and external partners.
  • Proficiency in financial management and strategic planning.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions to improve facility operations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle crisis situations effectively.
  • Knowledge of healthcare technology and electronic health records systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and patient care.
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and management of hospital staff to ensure a competent and motivated workforce.
  • Manage the hospital's budget, including financial planning, monitoring expenses, and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare laws, regulations, and accreditation standards to maintain the highest level of care and safety.
  • Collaborate with medical staff and department heads to facilitate effective communication and coordination of services.
  • Lead initiatives for quality improvement and patient satisfaction, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Represent the hospital in community and professional organizations to foster relationships and promote the center's mission and values.
  • Analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure the maintenance and safety of hospital facilities and equipment, coordinating repairs and upgrades as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain emergency preparedness plans to ensure the hospital's readiness for any unforeseen events.
