About The Position

Compassus is seeking a Hospice Weekend Registered Nurse to provide hospice patient care after hours and on weekends as patient needs arise. The schedule listed is Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; schedules may vary to meet agency staffing needs and may include weekends only, weeknights only, or seven days on followed by seven days off. The nurse supports patients in spending quality time with loved ones and participating in activities they enjoy, builds compassionate relationships with patients and families, educates caregivers, and helps patients and families maintain comfort and cope with after-hours emergencies. Requirements

• Hold an RN license in the state where the position is worked.
• Have two years of experience as a registered nurse.
• Have a current driver’s license.
• Have current CPR and BCLS certification.
• Be able to flex the schedule to meet agency staffing needs.
