About The Position
AdvisaCare Home Health and Hospice is seeking compassionate individuals to join our dedicated hospice team as volunteers in the Flint, Michigan area. Hospice volunteers play a crucial role in supporting patients and their families during the end-of-life journey. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide comfort, engage with patients, and offer clerical or office support. Volunteers often describe the experience as satisfying and emotionally enriching, with families viewing them as a gift during a difficult time. Opportunities include one-on-one visits with patients and families, or assisting in the office to support nursing and care staff. Requirements
- Pass a Criminal Background Check (Fingerprints)
- Pass a Drug Test
- Pass a TB Test
- Complete Volunteer Orientation (In Person or Online)
