About The Position
Custom Hospice is seeking a full-time Hospice Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, personalized care to patients and support to their families during end-of-life care. The role focuses on comfort, symptom management, dignity, and respect, while working with physicians and an interdisciplinary team to develop and deliver individualized care plans. The nurse also educates patients and families about disease progression and self-management strategies. The position is based in Dearborn.
Requirements
- Active registered nursing license.
- At least 1 year of nursing experience.
- Hospice experience.
- Associate's degree in Nursing.
- Genuine passion for caring for individuals facing end-of-life challenges.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care, support, comfort, and symptom management to patients.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to develop personalized care plans.
- Educate patients and families on disease progression and self-management strategies.
- Coordinate and administer medical treatments to support patient comfort and symptom control.
- Perform duties with empathy and dignity and a commitment to hospice care.
