Registered Nurse, Full Time, Hospice
About The Position
Full Time Hospice RN with a $5,000.00 Retention Bonus available for RNs with Hospice Experience. This role focuses on reducing stress and burnout by providing hospice nursing care in patients' homes. We are recruiting for a compassionate Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to serve patients in Springfield, MO, and the surrounding area. This is a FULL TIME position. Experience true work/life balance with flexible full-time, part-time, and per diem schedules. You will perform 1:1 direct care in client homes, with hands-on training supplemented by virtual learning and 24/7 clinical support as part of an interdisciplinary care team. Requirements
- Active and current RN license
- One year of clinical experience preferred
- Ability to travel locally to cases as assigned
Nice To Haves
- Previous hospice experience welcomed, but not required. We will train you!
Responsibilities
- Performing assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and comfort care.
- Monitoring clients' conditions and reporting changes to the Clinical or Client Services Manager.
- Following up with, executing, and properly documenting doctors' orders.
- Performing client assessments as necessary.
- Occasional on-call duties after hours and/or weekends.
