Hospice Registered Nurse - Full Time-3 - 12 Hour Shifts
About The Position

Advantage Hospice is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Hospice RN to join our growing team serving the Pottsville area. This role involves providing skilled nursing care to hospice patients in their homes or in a hospice facility, assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, administering medication, monitoring vital signs, and managing symptoms to ensure patient comfort. The position also includes educating and supporting patients and their families regarding end-of-life care and symptom management, coordinating care with other healthcare professionals, and offering emotional support, counseling, and education to patients and their families.
Requirements
- Active RN license in the state in which you are practicing or be a new grad with eligibility to take NCLEX.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in hospice, palliative care, or related field preferred but not required.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.

- Knowledge of hospice regulations and practices preferred.
Responsibilities
