Hospice On-Call Registered Nurse - Weekends
About The Position
Compassus is seeking a Hospice On-Call Registered Nurse to provide patient care after-hours and on weekends. This role is crucial for enabling patients to spend quality time with loved ones and pursue enjoyable activities. The nurse will build trusting relationships with patients and families, empower caregivers through education, and help patients and families maintain their maximum level of comfort and coping during after-hours emergencies. The position requires flexibility to meet agency staffing needs, with typical schedules including weekends only, weeknights only, or seven days on, seven days off. Requirements
- RN license in the state you work
- Two years of experience as a registered nurse, hospice experience preferred
- Current driver’s license
- Current CPR and BCLS certification
- Flex your schedule to meet agency-staffing needs. Typical schedules may include weekends only, weeknights only, or seven days on, seven days off
