Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of healthcare administrative experience preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes
• Strong communication, organization, and computer skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver's license and current insurance

Responsibilities

• Manage daily patient referrals and admissions
• Verify physician orders, insurance, and authorizations
• Maintain accurate patient records and intake documentation
• Build strong relationships with referral sources and community partners
• Track referral activity and support service growth opportunities
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and regulatory standards are met
• Represent Albany Hospice with professionalism and compassion
