As the Home and Community Bases Services Aide, you will provide support, assistance with personal hygiene and household functions for an individual to be able to remain in their own home. Full-time position providing in-home visits for hospice patients. Current North Carolina CNA certification is required. Standard business hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM. Travel required within Harnett and Lee counties to provide patient care
Requirements
- Current North Carolina CNA certification
- Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or access to public transportation
- For in-home aides not listed on the nurse aide registry, must have verification of core competencies by a registered nurse.
Nice To Haves
- Current CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire
- 6+ months of home care experience
- Ability to work flexible hours and independently
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminders
- Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed
- Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system
- Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs
- Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client
