We provide compassionate and dignified care, ensuring continuity. Hospice aides are vital in assisting with personal hygiene and bathing, working closely with the nurse case manager to meet patient needs as per the care plan.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- MO CNA certification required.
- Hospice.
- Long-Term care experience, and in-field experience highly preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Willingness to travel 60 miles on occasion from our office in Independence, MO.
- Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
- Ability to pass a drug test.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Responsibilities
- Perform personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, etc.) according to the Hospice Aide Plan of Care.
- Document care provided according to agency policy.
- Report any deviations from the Plan of Care to the Case Manager (or designee if not available).
- Use Durable Medical Equipment safely.
