About The Position

Their Hospice services focus on addressing the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of clients and their families facing end-of-life care. Hospice aides are essential in providing personal hygiene and bathing support, working closely with the nurse case manager to ensure all patient needs are met according to the care plan.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- MO CNA certification required.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Willingness to travel 60 miles on occasion from our office in Maryland Heights, MO.
- Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
- Ability to pass a drug test.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Nice To Haves
- Hospice. Long-Term care experience, and in-field experience highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, etc.) according to the Hospice Aide Plan of Care.
- Document care provided according to agency policy.
- Report any deviations from the Plan of Care to the Case Manager (or designee if not available).
- Use Durable Medical Equipment safely.
