About The Position

Luna Del Valle (LDV) Hospice is a locally-owned and operated Hospice company based in Albuquerque, NM. We pride ourselves on going above and beyond for our patients and their families, while also giving back to the local community. LDV Hospice is dedicated to providing exceptional end-of-life care with compassion and dignity. We are seeking a skilled and caring Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team of Hospice Home Health Aides. No previous Hospice experience is required; even if your only CNA experience is in a hospital or medical office setting, we encourage you to apply. As a Hospice Aide at Luna Del Valle Hospice, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care and support to our patients during their end-of-life journey. Your responsibilities will include assisting with activities of daily living, providing emotional support, and ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients. This role provides care to our patients while also providing peace-of-mind to their families and loved ones.

Requirements

• Active CNA license required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• Good, caring bedside manner is required.
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients and families.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of general CNA experience highly encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and any changes in patient condition.
