About The Position

Serenity Hospice PA is seeking a dependable and caring Certified Nursing Assistant to join its Wyoming Valley team in Pennsylvania. This full-time role provides comfort-focused care to hospice patients in their homes and care facilities, supporting patients and families with dignity and compassion. Requirements

Current Pennsylvania Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance.
Ability to travel throughout the Wyoming Valley service area.
Compassionate, dependable, and comfortable working independently.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Commitment to providing respectful and exceptional end-of-life care.

Nice To Haves

Hospice, home health, long-term care, or personal-care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care to hospice patients in their homes and care facilities.
Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and other activities of daily living.
Provide repositioning, mobility assistance, and comfort-focused care.
Observe and promptly report changes in a patient’s condition to the assigned nurse.
Follow each patient’s individualized plan of care.
Maintain accurate and timely visit documentation.
Offer compassionate emotional support to patients and families.
Communicate effectively with nurses and other interdisciplinary team members.
Maintain patient dignity, privacy, safety, and comfort.
